I love your ideas for a frozen party! They are fabulous. Where did you find the sponges at for the snowflake water bombs? Thanks!!!
girlinspired says
I found them at my local grocery store – I’ve seen some better color schemes at Target recently, too.
Daisy says
Hi Jill,
I’m just wondering where you ended up getting your sponges. I am having trouble finding packages with more than 2 blue. Most are assorted colors with mostly orange or yellow. I can find tons of blue ones with the scrubber side, but not plain soft sponges. I need to make 11 water bombs. Ive checked at Wal-Mart, Target, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General so far. Thanks in advance!
girlinspired says
Hi Daisy. I wasn’t able to find packs that had just blue and white, but I found the highest ratio of blue and white to orange and yellow at the grocery store. Good luck!

Love this! How can I add wording to the printable label for the snowk?

You can add it with photo-editing software like Photoshop or just write it on!

I know that you posted this early this summer but I was hoping you can still help me. I am planing a Frozen themed birthday party for my daughter and found this on Pinterest. I have made the gak and just love it but I was wondering what size jars did you use to store it and give to the kids? Any help would be great. Thanks so much you post here has giving me a lot of great ideas.
girlinspired says
Hi Elizabeth, I used half-pint/8-oz. size jars, but you could use any size – even plastic baggies! Have fun!

I’m going to be using many of your ideas for my daughter’s 4th birthday party in a few weeks — thank you! I’m also going to do the gal in the jars as you had suggested! When making the gak… the recipe of 2 bottles of elmers glue, borax, etc — would that be for just one one of the jars?
girlinspired says
Hi Amy, I think it made about 3-4 jars worth, I’m so sorry, I can’t remember for sure, but I know I made 4-5 batches and probably had around 15 kids – you can quadruple the recipe (or whatever amount) and just mix up a larger batch all together. Hope that helps!
