Crafting the paper flowers to decorate my mini cakes was so much fun, I couldn’t stop making them! As I started putting together my table for this month’s Cricut Design Space™ Star Challenge, I pulled out my handmade cloth napkins (learn how to sew dinner napkins here) and decided to give them a fresh feel with some paper flower napkin rings. After you’ve assembled the paper flowers it should take you all of one minute to make a set of these napkin rings.
You will need:
6 cardstock, spiral flowers, assembled (cut with Cricut Explore)
24″ length of ½″ glitter elastic (available at Jo-Ann)
hot glue gun and glue sticks
Cut six pieces of elastic 4″ long.
Wrap each piece of elastic into a circle and overlap the ends by ¼″; hot glue in place.
Hot glue one paper flower centered over the overlapped ends of the elastic.
Done! Fold your cloth napkins accordion style and slip the napkin ring onto the center! Instant gorgeous table decor!
You can find the template for these spiral flowers on Cricut Design Space™, along with tons of other amazing ideas for decorating your tables and your homes! Have fun and I’ll see you soon – I have at least one more crafty project to share this week – I’ve been busy!! 😉
