If you love sewing and are looking to find a huge collection of patterns from which to choose, you’re going to love today’s post. Once again, I’m sharing my opinion on the vast resources available through Craftsy. In addition to the classes we’ve been talking about over the last couple weeks, Craftsy also offers an extensive gallery of sewing patterns that are absolutely FREE! I spent some time exploring the gallery and couldn’t believe the variety of projects that I can access with a click of the mouse.
Within the Craftsy site, you can access pattern and project galleries and easily sort by project type, who you’re sewing for, and the skill level. You can also sort by price and what is currently trending. There are loads of garment patterns, both for kids and adults. There are bags, stuffed animals, blankets, toys, and home decor projects. All kinds of things!
Once you find a project that you’re interested in, you can click and add it to your shopping cart. And then when you “check out”, you’ll find all of your saved patterns in your own personal gallery. Just click on the pop-up “download” button and the pattern downloads straight to your computer! It’s really a painless process, particularly because there are just SO many free patterns available. Sometimes, I’m in need of a little inspiration to get going on my next project. A free pattern always comes in handy in this situation!
