Have you made a circle skirt yet? Dana sure has it right when she says that once you have your pattern made, you can just whip up one after the next. What I love about circle skirts is that they come together quickly and they drape beautifully. Today, I’m going to show you a simple variation of Dana’s Circle Skirt pattern. By layering two fabrics and cutting the circle open, you can make a quick wrap skirt that is fully reversible. I, of course, added a ruffle along one edge for a little extra something.
Add a little flower brooch accent if you like and send that little girl on her way! And when she smears chocolate on the skirt, she can just unsnap and flip it right over to the other side. Gotta love that!

oh my goodness! That is too cute with the ruffle and flower!! Thank you for sharing the tutorial!
this is amazing!!! so beautiful! wishing I had the supplies and ability to make one for my girls!
Thanks so much for this tutorial stef, it’s really inspired me. I love how easy and clear your tutorials are to follow.
@lisaplus6 – you DO have the ability believe me! I never thought I’d be able to sew anything. I started off hand stitching a pillowcase because I was bored at home (I have cancer). I’ve just made my first dress!! It’s nowhere near perfect but you can definitely do it. My first skirt was the circle skirt, maybe try that and then this remix. I promise it really is easy. As for supplies, use any old material – a bed sheet, one of your old skirts, a duvet cover… Anything! If you don’t have a sewing machine, it’s totally possible to stitch it the old fashioned way with a needle and thread. It just takes more time and isn’t as neat but with the circle skirt you won’t really notice. If you use a bed sheet you can use the hem of the sheet for the hem of your skirt, so you won’t have to do that part. Honestly, you CAN do it!!!
Lisaplus6 – yes, don’t doubt that if you want to do something, you can find a way!!
Joanna – I haven’t heard from you in a while – could you shoot me an email – email@example.com – I had a couple questions for you!
