Crispy Air Fryer Brussels Sprouts
Our crispy. tender Brussels sprouts with spicy sweet bang bang sauce will quickly become one of your go-to recipes. They are made in just minutes in the air fryer.
Ingredients
- 1 - 1 ½ pounds Brussels sprouts
- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon sea salt or kosher salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- ½ cup sweet chili sauce
- 1-2 teaspoons Sriracha use more for more heat
- 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- ⅓ cup mayonnaise
- ½ teaspoon garlic salt
- Red pepper flakes optional
Instructions
- Trim stems from Brussels sprouts and cut in half (or quarters if extra large).
- Place Brussels sprouts in a large bowl and toss with olive oil. (You can also season with salt and pepper. If you do, adjust the amounts of salt and pepper in the Bang Bang sauce.)
- Spread Brussels sprouts in a single layer in the basket of your air fryer (if you have too many for your air fryer, cook in batches).
- Cook at 400°F for 6-8 minutes. Toss the Brussels sprouts and continue cooking for an additional 4-5 minutes.
- Meanwhile, prepare the Bang Bang sauce by whisking together the salt, pepper, sweet chili sauce, Sriracha, lemon juice, mayonnaise, and garlic salt. Add a pinch of red pepper flakes, if desired.
- Spoon ½ cup of the sauce over the Brussels sprouts and toss to coat.
- Return to the air fryer and cook an additional 2-3 minutes, until the sauce is caramelized and the sprouts are toasty and tender.
- Serve with remaining sauce.

Storage:
Store leftovers in the refrigerator in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for 1 month.
Notes:
Do not overload the air fryer or else it will take longer to cook and they may not come out as crispy.
If you choose to coat the Brussels in the sauce from the start, omit the oil. They will be a bit soggier if you cook them this way.
The Brussels can also be cooked completely then tossed in the sauce versus putting them back in afterwards.
The spice in this recipe comes from the Sriracha and is intensified as it cooks. I recommend using ½-1 teaspoon of Sriracha in the sauce, then add more for dipping on the side.
