Mama's Meatloaf is a simple old fashioned dinner recipe that uses balanced ingredients for a moist meatloaf bursting with flavor. The sauce is out of this world.
Preheat oven to 350°F. Spray a 9x5 loaf pan with nonstick cooking spray and set aside.
In a large mixing bowl, combine all of the meatloaf ingredients. Use gloved hands for the most efficient mixing.
Shape meat mixture into a loaf and place in the prepared pan.
Combine the ingredients for the sauce in a small bowl. Spread half of the sauce over the prepared meatloaf.
Bake for 30 minutes; top with remaining sauce, and then cook for an additional 20-30 minutes or until the center of the meatloaf reaches 160°F.
Remove from the oven and let rest for several minutes before slicing.
Storage: Cover cooled meatloaf with plastic wrap and store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Meatloaf can be frozen up to 3 months. Wrap tightly in plastic wrap after it has completely cooled. Thaw in the refrigerator overnight before reheating.

Notes
Notes:Keep leftovers in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Freeze the meatloaf raw or cooked wrapped tightly in plastic wrap. Thaw overnight in the refrigerator. Bake as directed. Do not freeze if the meat was previously frozen. The combination of ground beef and turkey makes the meatloaf tender, not dense and adds lots of flavor. If you don't have a loaf pan, shape the mixture into two logs on a baking sheet or in a casserole dish. Pour the sauce over top, or create an indention so the sauce stays in place.
