Add all ingredients to a high-powered blender and blend until smooth.
Top with whipped cream if desired. Serve immediately.

This recipe works with any kind of milk, almond milk, coconut milk, oat milk or cow milk.This blends up a little thicker if you use frozen fruit instead of ice cubes. If your fruit is not frozen, it is wonderful with the ice cubes too. I like how the ice makes the smoothie extra cold so I use ice cubes whether I'm using frozen fruit or fresh.A squirt of whipped cream on top goes a long way to getting kiddos excited about smoothies.Use a high powdered blender like a Vitamix to really chop up the greens and the ice. Even my little Ninja blender does a fantastic job processing all the ingredients when I'm making a single serving.
