Without preheating, set air fryer temperature at 260℉ and program for 17 minutes.
Press the start button.
Remove eggs immediately from air fryer after cook time has elapsed.
Transfer to a bowl of ice water. Wait 1-2 minutes.
Tap the shell of the egg on the bottom of the bowl, rolling it to crackle the whole shell. Peel under the ice water, being sure that the membrane between the egg and the shell stays attached to the shell while peeling.
Notes
I used 4 whole eggs in this recipe but you can cook as many as you need.
Cooking time may vary depending on the size and power of your air fryer. I suggest trying 2 eggs first to test it out instead of loading your air fryer basket with a whole bunch of eggs.
If your air fryer hasn’t been properly cleaned since last use, you may see some small brown spots on your eggs after cooking. Don’t worry - this doesn’t affect your eggs in any way.
I haven’t preheated my air fryer for these hard boiled eggs but if your air fryer requires preheating then please do so.
If after the cooking time you find that your eggs are still not cooked through, play around with the time till you hit the sweet spot.
