Storage:Serve immediately.Notes:Our “fish bowl” glasses were large drink goblets with a 1.3 L capacity. After filling it with ice and some glass beads along the bottom, this drink filled the glass perfectly. To use a smaller glass, I would recommend halving the blue curacao, coconut rum, vodka, and lime juice. Mix those together and pour into your serving glass, then top with 7-Up to fill the glass. This will make a pretty standard drink as far as alcohol content goes. Our extra large drink would be considered “two drinks” worth with regard to alcohol content. The Swedish fish sink, which is perfectly fine, they’re still fun. BUT, if you’d like them to appear to be swimming around in your fish bowl, you have a couple of options. We used glass beads/vase filler - these work really well to create a little lift on the bottom of the glass for the fish to rest on. You could also use clear rock candy (available on Amazon) or some people pour a box of Nerds candy into the bottom of the fishbowl, though I think this would bleed the color and dissolve pretty quickly. If you use non-edible filler as we did, just be sure to thoroughly sterilize and wash/rinse before adding it to the drink. Also, be sure you are using larger marbles/beads so that they do not get sucked up in the straw or create a choking hazard.Pineapple juice makes a great addition to this drink as well. The flavor is great - I’d use about 2 ounces of pineapple juice. However, pineapple juice will tint your fish bowl drink slightly greener and it also makes the water a bit murky (aka not crystal clear).
