I admit it. I got a little carried away. I just wanted to take a few pictures of the gumdrop pillows that I posted about here. But I thought they’d look cute “in action.” with cookies. and place settings. and participants. I felt like a little girl. I even giggled out loud. There’s just something about tea parties.
I totally lucked out with the fiberfill on these pillows. While some people head out to Best Buy and Sears on Black Friday (yes, way back then!), I headed out to Joann’s and scored the fiberfill for all three pillows for about $30. MUCH better than I originally thought. I wouldn’t say that the stuffing is perfect; it’s a little wiry, but good enough for me!
The girls definitely love their pillows. They find them useful for sitting on, jumping from, hiding behind, and, of course, playing tea party.

WOW, WOW, WOW – those turned out so stinking cute!! Those are what took you a gazillion pounds of fiberfill? I can only imagine how many bags it took, but I think it was well worth it. Love your color choices. And yes, the action shots were worth it – so adorable with the tea set. Your girls must be so happy!!

Beautiful! Love the fabrics, and the tea party is a dream. Moms should get together for tea every now and again- just for the fun of it. 🙂

Those turned out perfect! I was just thinking about these THIS week when I saw a bag of fiberfill in my closet, I thought I should give this to Stef to help her with that project, and wondered if you got the fill that you needed.
You are too funny, I would have played with you if I was there. That unicorn with it’s hoof on the pillow is too much. And that they are eating animal cookies. xoxo

Love these! I just bought this pattern a couple weeks ago and did exactly what you did- realized after cutting everything out just HOW many bags of fiberfill I’d need to stuff them. But oh how pretty they are. I’m visiting from the CSI project. (Love your blog header too, btw)
