1. Handmade Ice Cream cartons – I LOVE packaging. These are at my local grocery store and a package seems to end up in my cart every time I shop! Find ice cream cartons online at Amazon and Shop Sweet Lulu.
2. Jelly Roll of Favorite Fabrics – this was super fun – I cut strips off of some of my favorite fabric yardage in coordinating colors of pink, aqua, red, and white. Some of my all-time favorite fabric lines are: Heather Bailey’s Nicey Jane, Amy Butler’s Love, Sandy Gervais’ Giddy, and Heather Bailey’s Pop Garden.
3. Ribbons and Trims – available everywhere, but I’ve found that scrapbook manufacturers have made some of my very favorite ribbons and trims. Try The Ribbon Retreat and Scrapbook.com.
4. Beads and Buttons – vintage or new, you just can’t have enough. My favorite places to hunt for buttons and beads (and vintage trim) are thrift stores, antique stores, and yard sales!
5. Paper flowers – so much fun for embellishing cards, scrapbook pages, room decor, and party decor, I especially love the Prima Marketing brand, available at Scrapbook.com
6. Paper Straws – love!! Perfect for every occasion, really. Available at Shop Sweet Lulu
7. Mustache Mold for candy mustache lollipops – so fun! I loved it so much when I bought mine that I purchased two. I found my locally, but here’s one at Australia’s Confectionately Yours or Sugarcraft has another variation, and here’s another fun mustache mold.
8. Candy Melts – These are just so quick and easy to use – for molded shapes, lollipops, cake pops, and freehand candy decorations. Purchase at your local craft store or cake supply store or online at any cake supply company.

WOW! Great favorites! My favorites change from time to time depending on what I am doing. Right now I have to say the new La Belle Vie and Dakota papers at Close to My Heart (they will be purchasable as of 8-1-2012.) Then I love love working with all the MY ACRYLIX stamp sets from CTMH too. Love sponge daubers from CTMH or Hobby Lobby. The Exclusive Inks from CTMH. Then I love bling, so all the pretty little bling pins and buttons as well as the sparkles and the opaque pearls and my Glitz Glitter Gels. OOPS, almost forgot….Got to love my ART PHILOSOPHY Cartridge and the New ARTISTE Cartridge. I’ll be crafting like a mad woman here soon. Just got to unclutter my craft room again to bring in all my new goodies from Convention. Happily Scrapbooking & Crafting My Memories~Sandra V.

We did this at Christmas time and did it with spending no more than $5. We each brought 4 gifts and we left with 4 different gifts! It was really fun! And I love all your favorite things! haha!

Wow, would love to be in your favourite thing exchange. At the moment for me it would have to be fabric, my first ever sewing machine arriving soon and working on creating a little stash (not sure if I will manage to cut into it though. Thanks for all the inspiration in your blog!

This is such a great idea! I’m definitely with you on the button thing – I have about 3kg of pre-loved buttons in a tin and I still can’t help but add to it when I go to spotlight or lincraft or whenever I’m in an op-shop or antique store! So useful for little sewing projects and crafts!
