That’s the magic number. The number of quilt pieces I need to cut out before I can start the tedious task of ironing and stitching them together. Into three quilts. For my three girls.
My beautiful, expansive view has been, well, not so expansive lately…
And I really don’t like the fog. It’s creepy and ugly and cold and gloomy. So I’ve been cutting out bright, cheery quilt top pieces. And I will continue to cut out quilt pieces until I get 240 of them. And that’s a lot.

Are you doing the quilt from Sandi Henderson’s book? Just wondering because I’ve been wanting to do that one and that looked like the same shaped piece. That is going to be BEAUTIFUL! Lucky girls!
I’m going to attempt to do a string block quilt in the next few weeks – we’ll see if I have the patience to get going on it!
Can’t wait to see the finish product!

You are my role model for this– it’s something I so want to do for my girls, I’m just so intimidated by the whole thing. I can’t wait to see them!
